Class Description
This webinar will outline the fundamentals of City Council discretionary contracting and the more recent multiyear reform, including common questions and best practices. The training will place a special emphasis on how to navigate the contract outyears, when agencies and providers will be expected to complete budget actions in lieu of contract registration should the provider receive City Council awards.
Objectives:
• Reinforce understanding of the City Council discretionary award process and gain a deeper understanding of the multiyear reform.
• Become more proficient in navigating PASSPort with regards to processing multiyear contracts and budgets.
• Establish tools and best practices that will lead to timely budgeting and invoicing
Target Audience: This course is part of the Procurement Training Institute curriculum for all Mayoral and agency staff with procurement-related responsibilities in New York City.
