Class Description
This course provides the participants with innovative practices that need to be followed to transform a company or organization from a traditional waterfall mindset to more of an Agile Lean mindset and culture. Agile Lean Change management is being used successfully in many organizations to move from a more traditional mindset to Agile Lean Mindset. Transformation to Agile Lean relies significantly on the leaders in the organizations to facilitate the change. Participants learn the responsibilities and techniques of the Agile Coach role, to facilitate change. The participants will study the importance of leader standard work, visual management techniques, methods for leading change and proven change models. This course will also offer the participants an opportunity to learn about and use appropriate Lean tools and how to lead using these tools. The participants will also gain insights into strategy deployment, leading Lean teams and sustaining a transformation or important initiatives.
Objectives:
- Combine ideas from proven organizational change management models, including Lean Change Management, to develop a solid contextual change framework used in your transformations and initiatives.
- Understand the Agile Lean Culture and how it applies to their current work environment.
- Create visual management artifacts for a typical organization undergoing transformation and will be able to apply light-weight planning and measurement tools such as Change Canvases, Objectives, Key Results, and Perspective Mapping in creating agile lean transformations.
- Apply Leaders standard work and daily management.
- Develop and practice leadership principles and Agile Lean coaching techniques necessary to lead organizations undertaking change.
- Develop methods to create a sustainable organizational transformation.
- Apply Agile Lean project management concepts.
- Understand and develop effective light weight strategy development and deployment.
- Learn the importance of Lean communication.
