Class Description

The ability to think creatively is an essential skill in business. Creativity is about more than painting or writing a screenplay. It’s about seeing problems from wider perspectives, reframing them so you can be more persuasive and innovative in developing solutions, and doing things in new and novel ways. However, research shows that we are all born with the capacity for creativity and can learn skills, strategies, and attitudes to enhance our abilities.

Objectives:

  • Understand 4 phases of the creative thought process
  • Practice 4 exercises to help you unleash your problem-solving skills
  • Recognize barriers to creative thinking and how to overcome them
  • Identify management techniques that facilitate creative thinking among team members
  • Understand ways to apply creative thinking to affect and manage change

Target audience:

Leaders, managers and supervisors
