Class Description
In the current work setting we are now presenting virtually — to our teams, to our managers, and to wider NYC audiences. This course is designed for professionals who make important presentations to audiences that are not “in the room.” Participants will receive one-on-one coaching and develop a skill set for speaking with confidence and projecting the best possible image of themselves and the agency during virtual presentations.
Emphasis will be on understanding the special needs of the virtual audience in order to formulate clear and logical virtual presentation points that connect, resonate and attain the desired audience engagement and reaction.
Objectives:
- Understand the importance of “virtual presence” and how to use it to positively influence every audience
- Structure your virtual presentation for clarity, impact, and persuasiveness
- Amplify your message by managing the process from invitation to follow up
- Use your PowerPoint skills to add visuals that reinforce the power of your presentation
- Respond to challenging questions and statements with confidence, authority, and understanding
- Close the presentation with impact
