Class Description
This workshop will support managers to understand the role of motivating employees in the workplace and how it connects to reward and recognition. People managers will have the opportunity to explore their own leadership style and how it contributes to motivating their teams. It also incorporates the Five Languages of Appreciation in the workplace to support managers in customizing their approach to each of their team members.
Objectives:
- Understand employee motivation.
- Explore differences between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.
- Uncover motivation myths.
- Review tips on motivating employees
- Discover the impact appreciation from an organizational perspective.
- Understand different ways to express appreciation in the workplace.
- Connect motivation to employee engagement.
