Class Description
Women no longer need the signature of a male relative in order to obtain a credit card (as was the case up until 197ti). However, there are still navigational roadblocks which prevent women at all levels from advancing. Some of these roadblocks are external, in the workplace. Other roadblocks have engrained themselves in our psyche for so long that we've become accustomed to our self-imposed limitations. This workshop will give women (and other allies) the tools to enhance their influence for a more productive team and a more resilient and powerful individual.
Objectives:
- Create a development plan that will build on your unique strengths and shape the path for your future.
- Discover strategies for self-advocacy.
- Establish your own "voice" that will mitigate negative communication (for you and others!)
- Learn how to boost your well-being, set boundaries and manage stress.
Target Audience: Women in the workplace (male and nonbinary allies are welcome.)
