AI isn't just for coders or tech insiders; it's for everyone. Whether you're writing emails, planning projects, or managing your day-to-day life, AI tools can help you think, create, and communicate more easily and confidently.

In this hands-on, conversational workshop, you'll explore how to use AI safely, responsibly, and creatively, turning it from something intimidating into something empowering. Through interactive exercises and real-world examples, you'll learn how to make AI work for you to save time, spark ideas, and simplify your work and life.

No tech background required, just curiosity and an open mind.

Objectives:

• Demystify AI and understand large language models in plain terms
• Learn simple strategies for asking better questions and getting better answers
• Explore real-world uses for AI in communication, organization, and creativity
• Practice using AI for real tasks and creative problem-solving
• Learn tips for ethical, privacy-conscious, and responsible use

Target Audience: This workshop is for New York City employees at all levels who want to confidently use accessible AI tools to support everyday work, enhancing productivity, creativity, and decision-making while preserving the human values at the core of public service.

There is no cost to employees; the agency covers the cost of participation for their employees.
