Class Description
How effectively do you navigate stress and maintain a healthy work-home balance? Are you able to recognize signs of mental distress in yourself, in family members, or in colleagues?
Our mental state impacts every decision in every facet of our lives. Unfortunately, many of us lack adequate knowledge about the fundamentals of mental health and neglect essential “healthy-mind work” needed to reach our full potential.
In this lively, multi-session workshop, become familiar with current mental health research, learn indicators of wellness, and deepen your knowledge about the coping strategies each of us relies on every day.
How You’ll Benefit:
- Understand the importance of growing more aware of your thoughts, responses, and reactions
- Recognize stressors and learn practical strategies for responding to stress
- Become more aware of and literate about mental health issues
- Set goals for improving the quality of your work life
- Share experiences and insights with supportive colleagues
- Use music to learn new content and to connect with fellow participants!
