The Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) is pleased to share the launch of NYCityLearn, the citywide learning management system for all City agencies and organizations, and for every City employee.

This catalog contains descriptions and schedules of available classes, workshops and educational programs currently offered for the Spring of 2025 (February 2025-June 2025).

In addition to Open Enrollment offerings listed in the catalog, courses across all portfolios are always available on-demand to support important and emerging agency needs. Who We Are

DCAS Citywide Learning and Development is the central resource for citywide training and development for City of New York employees. We offer a wide range of courses, educational programs, and professional development opportunities that help build skills and improve service delivery.

 

DCAS Citywide Learning Program Difference

Our classes, workshops and programs differ from other training available in several important ways:

  • Multiple modality offerings are available to meet workforce needs including synchronous in-person classes as well as remote classes via "live webinars", hybrid classes for audiences that combine in-person with remote participants, and asynchronous classes that may be accessed anytime, anywhere by participants
  • Convenient payment through a simple inter-agency charge-back agreement
  • Rapid course development and hosting for custom agency and organization-specific needs for in-person and live webinar classes
  • Custom course development and ongoing deployment, reporting and administration support for custom citywide agency and organization-specific needs for eLearning classes

Training Class Cancellation Policy:

To ensure smooth scheduling and accommodate all participants, the following cancellation policy applies to all training classes:

  • Advance Notice Required: Cancellation or schedule change requests must be submitted in writing at least 10 business days before the start of a confirmed class.  
  • Late Requests: Requests made with less than the required notice will result in a charge of the full course fee.  
  • Participant Substitution: If permitted by the training vendor, agencies may designate a qualified substitute participant up to 3 business days before the start of the class without penalty. Workforce Operations CTC must be notified in advance of any substitutions.
